Mayan hammocks made of cotton are the softest and most comfortable hammocks you can buy. They stretch and mold to your body easily and the colors are subtle and naturally beautiful. Although delicate, cotton Mayan hammocks will give years of comfortable wear if they are cared for properly. For example, if left out in the weather, the colors of cotton Mayan hammocks could begin to fade and the material may show signs of deterioration.

Nylon hammocks have less flex than cotton styles and feel slightly firmer. However, the nylon strings have a silky feeling and are incredibly comfortable. Thick string cotton hammocks are built for heavy use and are the most durable style of Mayan hammocks.
